I named it “A forgotten self test” as you may recognize that box in the bottom of the painting.
It's a “period” painting probably only because of that little blue box (here, in the Netherlands they are blue).
A room of a Young couple, that just were tested positive… but recovered very fast.. but that box is still there in the room as a reminder.
