Welcome to my Studio in Zwolle
From Arrival to Farewell
From the moment we meet you at the Schiphol Airport- Amsterdam, or in Zwolle train station, to the time we say goodbye at the end of the retreat, we’ll be your guides — making sure you have as little to worry about as possible.
Upon arrival, we’ll help you settle into your room at the Bilderberg Wientjes Hotel, a welcoming and comfortable home base that’s sure to spoil you. The hotel is just a short walk from the historic city center, where you can wander through streets lined with 14th- and 15th-century architecture, charming shops, cafés, and restaurants.
Come prepared to draw and paint — a lot!
The focus of this retreat is to capture the endless variety of subjects within this small but inspiring region. Each day we’ll paint in a new location: rural landscapes, wooded areas, farmland, and the banks of the IJssel River.
Beyond painting the woods, paths, and fields surrounding Zwolle, we’ll also explore your personal creative voice and expression. We’ll support and guide you as you discover your own artistic rhythm in this uniquely Dutch landscape.
