A New Art Retreat Adventure: Arega, Portugal!
Last spring, I traveled to a small village in Portugal called Arega, north of Lisbon. It was my first encounter with this beautiful part of Portugal, and almost immediately, I started imagining it as the location for a new Art Retreat—a fresh and exciting landscape to explore and paint.
I met warm, friendly, and authentic people and discovered breathtaking landscapes: mountains, valleys, forests, picturesque villages, and beautiful historic cities.
The accommodation is unique, the food is delicious, and the surroundings offer endless inspiration.
When I returned home, it didn't take me long to realize that this could become a truly special new Art Retreat.
And now, I'm thrilled to announce the first Art Retreat in Arega, Portugal!

Whether you are a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the very first time, this retreat is for you. It’s a chance to slow down, immerse yourself in the creative process, and grow as an artist—all within a supportive, inspiring environment.
You’ll join a community of like-minded individuals who encourage and uplift one another, guided every step of the way by your host, Tali Farchi, who shares her experience, insight, and passion for art.
To keep our experience intimate, attendance is capped to max 14 participants.

The equipment and materials you bring are entirely up to you and your personal preference.
Please keep in mind that we will be traveling and moving frequently throughout the week, so we recommend not bringing large canvases. Please bring only what you can comfortably fit in your suitcase.
If you don’t have a lightweight easel or folding chair, please let us know in advance.
Traveling:
We will meet at Lisbon Airport in Portugal.
On the morning of your arrival. From there, we will pick you up and transfer you to our place in Arega
(Since the drive takes more than 2 hours, please share your flight schedule and itinerary in advance.)
If you have any questions about airfare or tickets, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Travel insurance is required for all participants.
